V4C provides resourceful books for kids of pre-primary and primary grades.
Special care has been taken to curate the books to make learning fun for the students, convenient to teach for the teachers, and easy for parents to track their kid’s learning progress while emphasizing the curriculum goals prescribed in the National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
Our dedicated teacher training team, equipped with extensive teaching and training experience, trains the teachers in practising KAVI (Kinaesthetic, Auditory, Visual, and Interpersonal) activities. These trainings help the teachers to adapt classroom management techniques, best teaching practices, and academic excellence to deliver the best learning experience for kids. Our training focuses on achieving the curriculum goals mentioned in the National Curriculum Framework mixed with themes specified in our resource material.
At V4C, we believe teachers should be learners to ensure they deliver the best to the kids. To meet the goals of learning by teachers, we conduct sessions for teachers to help them with the preparation of Teacher Learning Material (TLM) thereby ensuring teachers are up to date with the teaching practices.
Our teacher training team makes regular visits to schools to ensure a smooth implementation of our program. The school visits emphasize clarifying doubts raised by teachers, parents, and management about the implementation and teaching practices by demonstrating them in the classrooms.
Audit reports are one of the important tools to measure the improvement of teaching and learning practices. Audit reports are designed to:
1. Measure the adaption of teaching practices by teachers.
2. Response to learning practices by students.
3. Ensure the curriculum goals are met as scheduled.
4. Enable the teachers to become better with the recommendations of the trainers.
5. Enable the management to understand the overall progress of the program.
6. Enable V4C to understand the challenges of schools and to improvise the program.
Holistic Progress Card (HPC) and Student File:
In line with the curriculum goals mentioned in the National Curriculum Framework, we designed a Holistic Progress Card to measure the performance of each kid against the learning indicators provided in NCF. We further enhanced the design with indicators like seed, sapling, and plant instead of traditional marks. Our Holistic Progress Card is designed to:
· be an indicator of learning progress by students.
· Provide a holistic view of the student learning progress to teachers and parents.
· Suggest teachers and parents on areas of improvement for each kid.
Skill-building sessions:
V4C makes a continuous effort to understand the skill requirements for teachers to keep pace with the younger generation. As a part of those efforts, we provide online skill-building sessions for teachers on various teaching and learning practices by experienced and renowned resources. With the experience of V4C, it has been proven that these skill-building sessions help teachers sharpen and refresh their creative skills.
